Rhinojewel + V-Ray


Jewelry modeled with Rhinojewel can be rendered with V-Ray, a rendering plug-in available for Rhino. A library of gemological and metal materials plus a selection of lighting schemes and backgrounds suitable for shooting jewelry will soon be made available as free downloads on our website to registered Rhinojewel users.

V-Ray is very easy to use and generates high quality renders in reasonable time. The renders below were all made with V-Ray on a Quad-Core computer and took between 3 and 10 minutes to complete. V-Ray can output very accurate reflections of metals and refractions of gems. Click any image to take a closer look.

A library of gemological and metal materials plus a selection of lighting schemes and backgrounds suitable for shooting jewelry will soon be made available as free downloads on our website to registered Rhinojewel users.

Maxwell Render is suitable for intermediate to advanced users who wish to obtain the highest possible rendering quality. Rendering times vary between approximately one and two hours on a Quad-Core computer. The renders below were all made with Maxwell Render. Click any image to take a closer look.
